Bishop Coleman Responds to HHS Ruling; Urges Action to Reverse This Violation of Religious Liberty and Rights of Conscience.

Bishop George W. Coleman has issued a letter to Catholics in the Fall River Diocese in response to the U.S. Department of Heath and Human Services recent ruling forcing almost all private health plans to include coverage for sterilization and contraceptives including drugs that induce abortions. The letter will be distributed at February 4-5 weekend Masses throughout the Diocese. Click here to access the letter.

The parish community of Saint Dominic’s Parish Church celebrated the centennial anniversary of its founding in 1911.
